I've applied for a job, why hasn’t anyone gotten back to me?

We inform candidates when their application and CV are found to meet our requirements and they are selected for an interview. If you are not receiving a message, your application might not yet be processed, or it might have been rejected.

Additionally, when expecting a reply from us, you might want to check your email’s spam folder; sometimes our automated emails end up there.

I’ve been selected for an interview. What further steps should I take to become part of the team?

To join the twosigmas team, you should:

  • Select a date and time that works for the interview
  • Complete an interview and demo class
  • Upload documentation proving you are a person with the credentials shown on your resume
  • Complete training
  • Select your teaching availability
  • Begin teaching!

Can I refer someone else to your company?

Yes! Every candidate is required to fill out our standard application, but if you’d like to let us know that you’re sending someone our way who you feel would be a good fit in our company, we’d be more than happy to take that into consideration.

What would my schedule be like?

The schedule is flexible; you’ll be able to work from 6,5 and up to 30 hours a week, between 5am and 11am Eastern Time.

How is the salary paid to people in the U.S.?

Salaries get paid through either PayPal or a bank transfer. Many teachers prefer PayPal so that they don’t need to deal with a transfer through a Chinese bank.

Technical problems
What equipment do I need?

You need a headset with a microphone, a computer with a webcam, and the latest version of the Chrome browser.

Please note that our online classroom does not currently work on tablets and phones.

There is a problem with my classroom. What should I do?

Most problems with audio or video can be resolved by:

  • Checking that the application is allowed access to your camera and microphone
  • Reloading the page
  • Restarting Chrome
  • Restarting your computer

Why can’t I login with the username and password provided?

Trouble logging in sometimes has to do with entering incorrect information. Make sure that you’re entering the username provided and not your email. If you still can’t log in, then send us an email and we will fix it as soon as we can!
